With a community Event currently running, an effort to bring in Japanese fans, and a first demo release, the Tuttle's Legendary Travels project has been pretty active lately so I figured it was a good time to feature it again. Check out the video below for a quick look at all the latest, and visit the project's site for all the details.

Reika Morishita Strikes Again! 2012-11-01

If I had the power to bestow Reika Morishita a medal of honor for paying more attention to the Mega Man Legends series in the last year than any other professional entity in the world, I would have probably given her one weeks ago just for remixing Another Sun and Your Wind Is Blowing. However, it looks like Ms. Morishita has even more up her sleeve for the series' fifteenth anniversary this December!

According to her blog, she's planning on making a physical disc release for her remixes. More importantly, she's also looking for Legends character fanart from artistically-inclined fans worldwide. You can send old art or make new art especially for the occasion, but it needs to be in by November 7th, which is a little less than a week from now, and it also needs to be a maximum of 750x750 pixels.

Send your pictures to info@morishita-reika.com by the 7th, and be sure and include your best work!

Thanks to Heat Man of The Mega Man Network for the translation and thanks to 100,000 Strong for the heads up!

English Interview With Reika Morishita 2012-10-15

Many Legends fans have been familiar with Reika Morishita for years, and those who haven't certainly should be now. She's the voice behind the Japanese theme songs for the original Rockman DASH game and a major supporter of the Legends 3 revival movement. As part of the efforts, she recently released newly arranged versions of her two songs, "Another Sun" and "Anata no Kaze ga Fuku Kara".

If you'd like to know more about Morishita-san and her efforts and feelings toward our beloved series, you'll surely want to check out yesterday's interview with her conducted by the 100,000 Strong movement at GetMeOffTheMoon. It's a lengthy listen at over 100 minutes, but well worth the time for any devoted Legends fan.

Cell Phone Crossovers Galore 2012-10-04

I'm sure by now all of you are pretty well aware of Rockman Xover, that freemium iOS social RPG slated for release in the imminent future in both Japan and the US. You know, that game with the small picture of Mega Man Volnutt on the promo art but no sign of our guy in the game itself?

In addition to that and Namco-Bandai's Project X Zone (which includes Tron Bonne,) the Legends series looks like it'll be getting some recognition in the latest crossover endeavor Capcom's announced for the GREE mobile platform in Japan: Capcom All Stars With Everyone. Capcom totes the game as a 'hero training RPG,' and it looks like it's going to be card-based.

As far as Legends characters go, only Tron and the Servbots have shown up in the promo art, but the image to the bottom right should be of some interest to fans. It's nice to know the Servbots are still sending those rockets, but if those twelve (!!) years of waiting all boil down to a short event in a Japan-only crossover cell phone game, I can't say I wouldn't be disappointed.
