Chapter 2 - Hunter's Return

The Reaverbots landed on Calinca and began destroying the buildings. Trigger steps in and started shooting them with his Shining Laser and Buster Gun. The Bonnes then hot-dropped their Mechs and Servbots, which then joined in the resistance against the impending menace. Roll flew overhead in the Flutter and called out to Trigger. "Megaman! The Bonnes will hold here, Glyde's on his way and will assist them soon. We'll head off to Forbidden Island and seal them as planned!". Trigger then jumped on to the ladder sticking out of the Flutter's hull, which then flew off to Forbidden Island, leaving Sera behind.

Upon arrival, Trigger was given the fright of his life when he sees the Reaverbots rushing out of the ruin entrance like a river. The Flutter started a sweep on the mechanical colony by firing energy rounds across the Reaverbots path. In the midst of the shots, Trigger jumped down and blew an alternate entrance to the ruins. Once inside, Trigger began searching the ruins for any signs of the Hunters. "It's pretty hot here, we have to pull out! Good luck----" The transmission from Roll dies off. Trigger resumes his search... and into a room with two capsules and figures in them. Trigger's face brightens at the sight of the Hunter's shiny armor. "Sera? Sera! I've found it!" shouted Trigger in joy. "What is it? You found the Hunters? Well that's great, can you reactivate them?" Sera replied. "I wish I could if there's power, the Hunters hibernated on low power and their power supply was cut off... I'll need something to power them up" moaned Trigger. "Why not use your Shining Laser's energy? It has the most concentrated amount of power among your weapons" Sera hints. Trigger then connected his Shining Laser to both X and Zero's power socket capsules. The whole room became bright and the Hunters began to show signs of life... The Hunters has returned!
