The Master was the last true human and spent 3,000 years living on Elysium.

Having already died prior to the start of the series, the Master is shown through MegaMan's memories of him. Before he fades away, he travels to Terra with MegaMan and sees firsthand the world that he has been ruling, and as a last wish, asks MegaMan to destroy the System.
