Mega Man - He changes,
Yet he always stays the same.
The name of our beloved bot
We constantly acclaim.
It matters not what form or shape
We find the Mega in -
His face, his gun, his name so sweet,
Still gamers' hearts do win.

At first we had the Classic man,
The friendly robot blue;
His sixteen-bit adventures
That were fun - and comic, too.
We loved to sit and watch him
As he beat the Wily goons,
But the era of the Classic man -
It ended all too soon.

Then, from the capsule underground,
Emerged the second form -
The days of Sigma would be short,
For X has now been born.
The Reploid keeper of the peace
We learned to love and know;
But the era of the Mega X -
It, too, soon had to go.

The legend of our Mega Man
Then turned to myst'ry grand
As Legends flowed from Keiji's mind
And shook the gaming land.
With wond'ring eyes did we behold
The saga of the game;
We wished and prayed for Legends 3 -
Alas, it never came.

At last, from distant Reploid past,
There came another man,
Another Mega to fight for truth -
A sword was in his hand,
And with his shining saber green
He fought for good and right;
But alas, our hero Zero
Soon passed into the night.

Now "Jack in, MegaMan! Execute!"
Became our battle cry,
As MegaMan. EXE
Made enemies to fly.
He and his human partner, Lan -
They made an awesome team,
But Lan - he married, had a son,
And took Mega from our screens.

Today we have a duo tough -
Their names are Vent and Aile,
And with the Biometal X,
From foes they never quail.
The Megamerge has made them new -
The Mega Men are they;
But someday, ZX, too, will end
And take the fun away.

Tomorrow we will have a man
Of futuristic fame -
The Mega of the shooting star;
The Star Force is the game.
Through unseen waves above the earth
He'll battle with his foes
And fight for justice, truth, and right;
But this man, too, will go.

The future needs a Mega Man,
A hero they can trust
To fight the wrong, defend the right -
To be both kind and just.
We do not know who he will be,
But this we say for sure -
If only he be a Mega Man,
Mega's spirit will endure.

Mega Man - He changes,
