The Miitan are floating reaverbots which hover in place until an enemy approaches. At this point their eyes will begin to glow red and they will move slowly toward their target.

A few shots will usually take care of a Miitan, but diggers must beware that these little machines unleash a large explosion when defeated, and may get the last hit regardless. Failure to destroy the Miitan before it makes physical contact with its target will also result in the same type of explosion, but with no Zenny or energy cubes dropped.

The largest concentration of Miitan can be found within the Nino Island Ruins, though they appear in a number of places.
